Tunc KARACAY

Tunç Karaçay  is one of the consultant and content developer of DG Consultancy.

​After earning undergraduate degrees in Political Science and Media & Communication Systems, he completed a Master's program in Conflict Analysis and Resolution, specializing in conflict resolution.

​

Since 2010, Karaçay has been shaping and implementing his expertise to meet the diverse needs of various target groups. He develops unique content and methodologies for civil society organizations, the private sector, and public institutions. He has provided training and consultancy services for international organizations such as UNDP, UNICEF, GIZ, UNHCR, WHH, and RET International, actively engaging with target communities through field projects. His work spans a wide range of stakeholders, including private sector executives, local and national government employees, as well as youth, migrants, and displaced individuals. Additionally, he delivers training programs on conflict analysis and resolution, negotiation and mediation, social cohesion, and conflict sensitivity for civil society professionals working with these groups. Committed to ensuring the lasting impact of his work, Karaçay transforms his training content into tailored educational manuals and conducts evaluation studies to enhance the sustainability of projects.

Karaçay places great emphasis on the methodologies used in his work, prioritizing interactive approaches that actively engage participants as key actors in the learning process. This commitment to participatory methods is also reflected in his expertise in another field. With extensive experience as a trainer in various theater ensembles, he successfully completed the Creative Drama Leadership Program organized in collaboration with the Contemporary Drama Association and the Ministry of National Education. He designs and implements participant-centered training modules using interactive techniques such as forum theater, image theater, and creative drama, working with diverse target audiences.

Furthermore, Karaçay is dedicated to conducting his work with greater sensitivity and effectiveness. To deepen his understanding of human behavior and conflict dynamics, he is currently pursuing a degree in Psychology, enhancing both his theoretical knowledge and practical expertise in the field.
