Marwa ERSHAIDAT

Marwa is a regional expert and evaluator based in Beirut, Lebanon, with regular travels to Jordan, Turkey, and France. She brings over a decade of experience across the West Asia and North Africa (WANA) region, working at the intersection of gender, governance, forced displacement, media, livelihoods, and access to justice.

Marwa has led or contributed to more than a dozen complex evaluations for bilateral donors, UN agencies, and international NGOs, with a strong grounding in both qualitative and participatory methodologies.

Fluent in Arabic, English, French and Turkish, Marwa brings a multilingual and intersectional lens to research, evaluation, and policy work. Her approach is rooted in feminist and rights-based frameworks, and informed by her background in law and political science, with postgraduate studies from SOAS University of London and Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas.

She has also worked in programmatic and advisory roles with grassroots organizations, UNHCR, and feminist collectives, offering a rare combination of strategic, legal, and operational insight.
