
Dilara GOK
Dilara Gök is the Director and Founder of DG Consultancy and Training, a London-based consultancy firm established in 2021 to support the development sector through conflict resolution, research, and strategic intervention. With a strong background in peacebuilding, conflict transformation, and social cohesion, she has over a decade of experience designing and implementing programmes across Türkiye and internationally.
Since 2012, she has worked extensively on anti-discrimination, mediation, and inclusive dialogue initiatives. Her expertise includes conducting conflict analysis, designing intervention strategies, and developing educational and facilitation tools. She has led conflict-sensitive programming for NGOs, public institutions, and international organisations, combining policy insight with field-level engagement. Her work spans local dialogue processes, stakeholder mapping, training design, and adaptive methodologies to address complex social challenges.Additionally, her work has focused on the social impacts of displacement and the role of local actors in fostering resilience.
Before founding DG Consultancy, she co-founded Conflictus Training and Consultancy, where she led initiatives connecting civil society, local authorities, and communities to promote dialogue and build peace infrastructure.
Dilara is one of the members of the Mediterranean Women Mediators Network (MWMN) — an initiative promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, in collaboration with the Istituto Affari Internazionali (IAI) and Women in International Security (WIIS) Italy. The network supports the visibility and participation of women mediators in peace processes across the Mediterranean region. She is also a founding member of the Turkish Antenna of the Mediterranean Women Mediators Network (MWMN)
She also served as a certified victim-offender mediator at the Istanbul Courthouse between 2016 and 2021, facilitating restorative justice mechanisms in criminal cases.
Currently, she is pursuing her second Master’s Degree in Humanitarianism, Aid and Conflict at SOAS, University of London (2024–2026). She holds a BA in International Relations from Istanbul University and an MA in Human Rights Law (thesis stage) from Istanbul Bilgi University. She is also an alumna of the Women in Conflict 1325 Fellowship, reflecting her commitment to advancing gender-inclusive peacebuilding.
Dilara’s work is rooted in the belief that conflict is not merely a disruption, but a gateway to transformation of our societies, she approaches it as a point of entry for building stronger, more resilient systems.
